Prayer & Counselling

“Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life is not of the Father but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever” (1 John 2:15 -17).

Prayer (GK Eschomai) means having a conversation with God, whether in the form of supplication or thanksgiving. In any given situation, It is proper for us always to pray instead of moving by instinct before reaching a conclusion and thereby making any decision. According to Luke 18:1, “And he spoke a parable unto them to the end that they ought always to pray, and not to faint.”

Solomon K. Amedofu (Pastor – Teacher)

God only answers prayers that are following His will. Moreover, we should note that He is never impressed by the quantity or eloquence of speech made when we pray (Matthew 6:9). Also, the object of our faith is NOT in faith or on our selves; but in God alone.
Why do we pray? There are choices and decisions that we often make that do not only affect us directly but our children and their generations after them. Therefore the Berean Bible Church offers biblical counselling and prayers that are under God’s will.
If you need biblical counselling and prayer, you can do so by sending an email or call the Church’s number to make an appointment.
